Do I need a Life Coach?

Have you ever asked yourself this question? Maybe, you have wondered what could a Life Coach possibly do for you? It is so acceptable in todays society to have a Personal Trainer, or even a Shrink, but a large portion of the modern world still think its crazy to have a life coach. Is it the insecurity of admitting that one needs guidance? I dont know. It seems ok to get help looking after your body, or even admit to being crazy, but wanting to improve your life..Hmm..I'm not sure.

It's all a bit silly really. Most of the people I coach are all quite successful, they have achieved a fair amount of wealth, and status, but are still looking to improve. Whether it be a relationship, a career move, or to find greater fullfilment from life, they are the majority of my clients. These people are open to constant growth and development. They are the leaders, the motivators and usually fantastic coaches themselves. So why do they pay for guidance? Because they know that they are personally biased, that they can't see all the angles, that two is better than one, and that life is way to short for trial and error.

I am not insisting you go out and get a coach, but if you want to be successful in life then you have to open your mind. Ignorant disapproval will get you nowhere, because coaching comes from peers, from family, friends, co-workers. If you think you know it all you have already failed.

I wish you a great Christmas and hope you have planned to share with others less fortunate, even if it is just your time!
